Lemmy Statue Unveiling

Official project with Motörhead

The project.

Over the last 2 years, I have been working with sculptor Andy Edwards to capture the process of Ian Frasier (Lemmy) Kilmister’s memorial statue. The final event took place in Burslem, Stoke-On-Trent and was met with hundreds of people from all over the country coming to pay their respects and celebrate the life of Lemmy and the legacy he built in his lifetime. Motörhead’s legacy was born at the heart of Stoke, and the statue that is beautifully crafted by Andy serves as a reminder of the importance of Metal music, the communities it builds and the people it brings together. As a huge fan of Motörhead, I am so honoured to have been chosen to capture such an incredible journey, and I am excited to finally share some of the photos here with you.
